The volcanic ash which stopped all flights in and out of Britain recently is still being created and remains a problem. At the time of writing, it is driven south east, and is not disrupting any of our flights. However, this is likely to change, and if does then this is what would happen:
1. If you were due to go on holiday with us, we would continue with our plans until such time as the flight was cancelled. At that point, if we considered it impossible to find some reasonable alternative form of transport, we would also cancel the holiday and refund you all holiday payments.
2. If you were unable to return home from a tour because your flights did not operate, we would consider this a delay on the part of the airline, and we would ensure that you were safe and comfortably accommodated and would pay for the first night and supper of your extra stay. We would also rebook you, or offer to rebook you, on to the next available flight at the fare offered as part of our original package (usually an economy seat on a scheduled airline).
3. If the return flight which the airline offered was also aborted for the same reason, we would consider that our original flights were no longer a viable option for your return, and find alternative ways of repatriating you at our own expense. Any refunds on that flight would then be used by Andante Travels to offset the cost of the alternative form of repatriation arranged.
4. Should either individuals or the whole party wish to find a way to return earlier at their own expense, either by rebooking on an upgrade, or by organising overland travel or in any other fashion, Andante Travels and/or its local agents would provide whatever help possible in the prevailing circumstances.
Andante Offices are open 9-5 as usual. For out of hours emergencies only contact:

Since you have booked with a bonded member of AITO, you know that your holiday cost will be refunded in full if the tour is cancelled. Those people who made their own arrangements have no such guarantee.
